How It Works

Contact us: When you’re ready for an end-of-life discussion to take place or book an appointment, simply give us a call or send us a message.

At-Home Visit: When the time comes, our veterinarian will visit your home at the scheduled appointment time. We’ll create a calm and comforting environment for your pet and your family.

Compassionate Euthanasia: With the utmost care and respect, we’ll gently guide your pet across the rainbow bridge, ensuring a peaceful and pain-free transition.

Aftercare Support: Following the euthanasia, we’ll provide you with resources for coping with grief and loss. We’re here to support you during this difficult time.

Cats(Required)

Cats must be confined to a single room with minimal hiding places. If we are unable to catch and restrain your cat within the first 10 minutes of our arrival we may need to perform a hands off examination or, if not suitable, to rearrange the appointment at the owner’s expense. If your cat is very fractious we may need to prescribe some oral calming medication to be used before any future appointments. If your cat’s behaviour is not suitable for a safe home visit we may advise you to go to a bricks and mortar practice for sedation and treatment.

Highly recommend My Home Vet. They came to my house to put my elderly cat to sleep. I was absolutely dreading it but they were so lovely and really put my mind at ease. They explained everything that would happen and reassured my my cat would feel no pain. The whole procedure was over quickly and I take great comfort in knowing that my darling cat went to sleep on his favourite rug in the living room, surrounded by his family.

Following the heartbreaking decision we had to make to help our beautiful (almost) 14 year old boy Axel go to permanent sleep, I can’t thank Sarah and Danielle enough for their lovely, caring nature, on what was a truly sad and devastating day… Their calmness and explanation of the whole process and what to expect, helped prepare us for Axel’s final journey. He hated going to the vets, so we wanted him to be at home, in calm and familiar, stress-free surroundings. He passed away peacefully and with dignity, laying in his favourite spot in the garden in the sunshine, getting the head and ear tickles he loved so much and surrounded by the people who loved him most. We really couldn’t have asked for a better send off for Axel

I would definitely recommend this company. Today, our poorly 16yr old Rack Russell took a turn for the worst. I rang my home vet and within the hour they came.
