Highly recommend My Home Vet. They came to my house to put my elderly cat to sleep. I was absolutely dreading it but they were so lovely and really put my mind at ease. They explained everything that would happen and reassured my my cat would feel no pain. The whole procedure was over quickly and I take great comfort in knowing that my darling cat went to sleep on his favourite rug in the living room, surrounded by his family.

After 24 years of loving care, I contacted My Home Vet in a state of distress. Following the heartbreaking decision we had to make to help our beautiful (almost) 14 year old boy Axel go to permanent sleep, I can’t thank Sarah and Danielle enough for their lovely, caring nature, on what was a truly sad and devastating day… Their calmness and explanation of the whole process and what to expect, helped prepare us for Axel’s final journey. He hated going to the vets, so we wanted him to be at home, in calm and familiar, stress-free surroundings. He passed away peacefully and with dignity, laying in his favourite spot in the garden in the sunshine, getting the head and ear tickles he loved so much and surrounded by the people who loved him most. We really couldn’t have asked for a better send off for Axel

Sadly we had to put our nearly 14 years old german shepherd Bazyl to sleep in January. It was the most calm and emotional moment to send our beautiful boy over the rainbow ????Our house was so empty so two weeks after we got another german shepherd and the ladies from my home vet take a very good care of Sky whenever we need them or have a question. We have just had our beloved dog Charlie put to sleep after 15 years of loving him.we was not sure of how to go about it so I emailed my home vet and the girls was absolutely brilliant they talked us through the procedure and everything they said happened and the girls was very sympathetic and caring and this morning I received a card of condolence from the girls and some forget me not flower seeds which are now planted in a little garden of remembrance for our boy thank you so much girls. They came to put my dog to sleep and they told me on phone step by step and then when arrived told me step by step what would happen and was lovely and professional and then I received a lovely sympathy card and lovely verse that moved me to tears and send some seeds to scatter in memory of my dog I am so grateful they understood that the dog was always a family member thank you so much and would recommend to anyone looking for a vet I have dealt with vets before but I will be using these again for sure.
