Cats must be confined to a single room with minimal hiding places. If we are unable to catch and restrain your cat within the first 10 minutes of our arrival we may need to perform a hands off examination or, if not suitable, to rearrange the appointment at the owner’s expense. If your cat is very fractious we may need to prescribe some oral calming medication to be used before any future appointments. If your cat’s behaviour is not suitable for a safe home visit we may advise you to go to a bricks and mortar practice for sedation and treatment.
